1 cup strawberries drizzled with a spoon of honey. For a complete antioxidant boost, add some walnuts into the mix.
Honey is a powerful immune system booster. Its antioxidant properties will help you stay healthy and fit.
The antioxidant capacity of strawberries is quite extraordinary! Since many food items (for example, spices) are consumed in very small dozes, the analysis of the antioxidant capacity of food takes into consideration a common serving size of the item and their total antioxidant capacity. In this evaluation strawberries came 3rd amongst the tested herbs, fruits, and vegetables! Only blackberries and walnuts could compete with strawberries antioxidant capacity.
Blueberries

Pop-corns
Nutritional gold nuggets! Quick to prepare and great for snacking! A single serving of popcorn has twice the antioxidants of most vegetables. But, prepare them in a healthy way so that they stay healthy. Use sea salt and pop them at home instead of buying a ready-made bag of pop-corns. Don’t cover them in butter!
Dried fruit and nuts
Mix a handful of dried fruits like raisins or dried apricot with a handful of unsalted nuts
Buy raw nuts and soak them over-night before you use them. Any nuts would do: almonds, walnuts, pecans, they are all rich in nutrients... Nuts and seeds are soaked so that they are properly cleaned (never use the soaking water in the food), we increase their enzyme activity, and it is easier to digest them.
Dried fruit could be raisins or apricot, dried figs, but also dried cranberries, peaches or pears. Use your imagination!
Add pumpkin seeds to increase your protein intake!
